Pricing for EDI File Transfers

Claim submissions and eligibility inquiries (actually, successful eligibility inquiry responses, “271’s”) count toward your maximum tier volume limit. Any other transactions you submit are not counted. If your trading partner accepts 278 requests for instance, you can send them at no charge. If you generate claim status inquiries or use ClaimShuttle to generate claim status checks, there is no extra charge. There are no additional charges for receiving remittance advices (835) or acknowledgements (999/277CA), and there are no other hidden charges for number of users, support or file storage. Our Maximum Tier Ranges

If your anticipated monthly transaction volume exceed 2500 you will require a custom quote. You will like our pricing.

Exceeding the Contracted Tier Maximum Transaction Volume

We calculate the number of transactions you transmit each calendar month. At the end of three months, and at the end of each subsequent calendar month, we check three things before moving you to the next highest tier:

  • Is the most recent calendar month’s transaction count greater than the contracted tier maximum?
  • Is the average of the past three calendar month’s transaction counts greater than the contracted tier maximum?
  • Are at least two of the past three calendar month transaction counts greater than the contracted tier maximum?

If the answer to all three of these questions is Yes, then we will move you to the next tier level.

If you are on a monthly contract, your next invoice will be for the next tier’s price. For example, if you were in the 50 maximum tier, at $15 per month, you will be moved to the 250 maximum tier, and your future invoices will be $18 per month.

If you are in a one, two, or three year contract, you will be invoiced for the price difference between your current tier and the next tier, pro-rated for the number of calendar months remaining in your contracted term. If you extend your contract for another one, two, or three years from that point, your invoice will include the applicable discount ( 10%, 15%, or 20% ). Your next renewal invoice will be at the higher tier.

Additional EDI MailBoxes

Each additional EDI MailBox is charged a flat $2.50 per month.

Pricing for CMS1500 Claim Data Entry

Pricing is established at 2/3 of the price for your EDI File Transfer tier. For example, if your maximum tier volume is 50 and your tier price is $15.00 per month, your price for CMS1500 Data entry is $10.00. If your EDI File Transfer tier price goes up, the price for the Claims Data Entry feature will go up by the same percentage.

CMS1500 Claim Data Entry + File Import

To use the Claims Data Entry + File Import feature, the additional monthly charge is the same as your EDI File Transfer tier. For example, if your maximum tier volume is 50 and your tier price is $15.00 per month, your price for the Claims Data Entry + File Import feature is $15.00. If your EDI File Transfer tier price goes up, the price for the Claims Data Entry + File Import feature will go up by the same percentage.

Pricing for CMS3270 Medicare Enterprise Data Center (EDC) Access

Pricing is $15.00 per month, for a bundle of 3 users, to access FISS/DDE. Additional users are priced at a flat rate of $10.00 per month, per user. If you need pricing for more than 10 users, contact our sales department for a custom quote.

Contract Types

We offer monthly and one, two, or three year contracts. By signing up for a year or more, and paying in advance, you will receive a discount based on the number of years selected. Choose one year for a 10% discount, two years for 15%, or three for 20%.
